Topics include:

Morning session option 1: workplace investigations around ‘grooming’/ sexual misconduct/ reportable conduct; staff with mental health issues; effectively negotiating and documenting staff exits; and vexatious parents and parents bullying staff.

Morning session option 2: LawSense School ICT Law: social media misuse; data storage and retention; photos, surveillance devices, facial recognition and biometric data; and understanding and obtaining valid consent from students or parents.

Afternoon Session option 1: esafety commissioner update; family law; and students with a disability case studies – dealing with difficult student behaviours, parents, other families, advocates and staff.

LawSense School Sports Law: concussion update; insurer’s perspective – developing school sport risk management plans and inducting coaches and volunteers; and inclusiveness in sport update.
